Somali Folk Songs
Camden central resident Fatuma Shireh introduces Camden to a different way of teaching.
The former journalist from Somalia recites two folk lullabies in her native tongue.
The first song is a moving lullaby about motherhood. It gives a universal insight to the mother child relationship.
The second song is about the Somali flag. It is usually sung to the young to explain their heritage. |
