Developing Programme Making Skills
In the weeks after the Introduction, we will:
Help you to plan a first programme
Show you how to use recording equipment
Show you how to edit your programme.
Our Base: We centre our activities at Maiden Lane Community Centre, St. Paul's Crescent, off Agar Grove, NW1. We are a very diverse group and people of all ages, backgrounds and interests are welcome to join. We support the ethos of community radio which serves the local and the wider community.
We use the equipment and editing facilities provided by the community centre's UKOnline centre. We have some recording equipment of our own, which we can lend to members for short periods. We sometimes also join classes at the City Learning Centre in Charrington Street, NW1
Recording and Broadcasting Studio:
- CCRadio gets regular opportunities to record as live in the studio of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) - part of the University of London, at Russell Square.
- CCRadio is building a studio at Maiden Lane Community Centre.
- CCRadio members sometimes get the opportunity to train and to present with other radio stations. For example Women's Radio Group, London Link Radio and Refugee Week Radio.
